to have and to hold.

To dedicate your love + life to someone is a big freakin deal. You are telling that person, "hey, I want to wake up with you and choose you. Every day of my life, forever." I think that's pretty amazing, and I think that stories like that, the ones where love is so authentic and true - need to be told. I want to tell that story, your story. I am not here to produce a fake, impersonal copy of your love story, I want you guys - the real & the raw! I base my work on the moments as they happen and the emotions that are present in those moments. The details, the in betweens, the big things, and even the things that don't go right on your day, I am there for it! Because at the end of the day, its what makes your story unique to you.

frequently asked questions

Q: What do you consider an elopement?

A: Whether its just you and your lover, or you want to include up to 25 of your closest loved ones; I consider elopements small + intimate ceremonies that celebrate you as a couple! Sometimes this just involves us and an officiant, or other times there are family and friends present! Elopements usually do not last more than 3 hours in length and do not include groups larger than 25 people; if you are thinking of something bigger than what I just described, I would suggest taking a look at my full wedding packages!

Q: do we get all the images?

A: I deliver all the best photos from the day! I take the time to go through each and every photo taken that day, and make sure to get rid of any unflattering poses, closed eyes, and blurry photos; pretty much all the ones you wouldn’t want. This generally yields about 100 photos per hour, but often more!

Q: Do we get the RAW photos?

A: I do not deliver RAW, or unedited photos. The unedited version of the photos I take are not considered a finished product. I am hired based on my style, which I hope clients will trust I will deliver upon booking.

Q: Is travel included?

A: Travel is included for all local elopements within a two hour radius of Reno, NV. Elopements outside of this range will require a travel fee of $1 per mile of driving to location + lodging expenses. For elopements that require flying, I do ask that my flight & lodging are covered. These prices are determined on a case by case basis!

Q: We have no idea what to do in front of the camera, will you pose us?

YES, but NO. I don’t really pose as much as I direct. Over the years, I’ve found that the best photos come from actual emotions, not posed ones. Basically I’ll give you some prompts, tell you to get all cuddly and close, and make you laugh by saying super funny stuff. I always call myself the third wheel on your wedding, because simply, I am. As the photographer, you spend a majority of the day with me by your side, capturing allll the moments. Because of that my best advice is to just take each other in, and enjoy yourselves, & I'll do my thing!

Q: Our day cannot be recreated, how do we insure the photos will be safe?

A: Your photos from your day are very important to me. I understand that technology  & equipment are not always the most trustworthy or stable; this is why I always take extra precautions to insure your photos will be safe & delivered to you! I do this by shooting with two cameras on your wedding day, using dual memory cards, so there is always an extra copy of your photo being made before I even take it off my camera. After the day is over, I immediately back up the photos both on an external hard drive as well as to the cloud -- just in case one of those platforms decides to fail!

Q: Do you photoshop us?

A: While I do apply edits to change the overall color and style of the image, I am a big believer in a photo representing the real, authentic version of someone. I do minor touch ups, such as very obvious blemishes, or distractions. I do not do body alterations or liquefaction – my general rule of thumb is, if it will be gone in two weeks, I will take care of it, otherwise I like to portray people as they are!

Q: Do I have to order prints through you?

A: I highly recommend ordering prints through my professional vendors, but it is not required. The difference in quality is HUGE when it comes to ordering through a store printer and a professional lab, so I encourage clients to let me help with prints!

That’s it, take my money already. We want to book you, but how?

Sweet! All you gotta do, once we confirm your wedding date, we meet up over coffee and talk details. From there I briefly go over the contract with you, and at the end of the meeting email it to you. At the time of signing the contract, I do require a 50% retainer. This retainer insures I will not book your date for anyone besides you, and also secures the contract! From there, I am all yours!

still have some questions , or want to book?!

"Taylor! I'm in tears!!  Those photos are sooo much more than I ever thought possible! Thank you so much for capturing the spirit of our ceremony. Your photos have captured every intimate thought and conveyed every emotion. " - S.
